Families staying at The Hunter Inn have a great variety of activities to choose from, beginning with our Game Room, which includes air hockey, ping-ping, pool table, foosball and electronic games, and the Play Station-II-equipped TV Room. The Amenities page lists the full range of things to do at The Hunter Inn.

The family fun to be had off-site is limited only by your imagination. In winter, both Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain have special trails for children, where they can safely enjoy skiing, snowtubing and snowshoeing. Hiking and cross-country skiing are also available nearby.

Summertime fun includes festivals sponsored by Hunter Mountain, such as the Celtic Festival, the German Alps Festival, the Microbrew Festival, and Oktoberfest. You can also partake of hiking, fly-fishing, golfing, swimming, miniature golf, horseback riding, tubing and boating.

All-season activities include sightseeing, shopping and movies, as well as the many cultural events for all ages sponsored by the Catskill Mountain Foundation.

And remember: Up to two children 16 years old and younger stay for free with their parents. Babies two years and younger always stay for free and daycare facilities are available at both Hunter and Windham Mountains (advance reservations recommended).
