Cancellation
Policy
We realize
that sometimes plans change. In order to be fair to other prospective
guests of the Inn and to avoid unnecessary charges, please abide
by the following minimum cancellation notification schedule:

Early - Season (11/22-12/25) - 3 days prior to
arrival date *
- Weekend - 14 days
prior to arrival date
- Peak Periods - 14
days prior to arrival date
- Midweek - 3 days
prior to arrival date
Regrettably,
we must assess a one-night charge per room for cancellations that
don't comply with this schedule. All reservations are guaranteed
after the cancellation notification date, at which time a one-night
deposit will be charged to your account. No-shows and abbreviated
reservations will be charged for the entire reservation.
Hunter
Inn is not responsible for weather conditions or personal emergencies.
Check
In and Check Out
Guests
may check in after 3:00 p.m. We request that guests ch eck
out by 11:00 a.m.
Guest
Registration / Occupancy
- All guests staying at The Hunter Inn must
be registered with the front desk upon arrival.
- Room rates are based on double occupancy.
Any additional adults / children will be charged according to
the published rate schedule.
- The maximum occupancy allowed is 4 adults
per room.
- Unauthorized guests will be charged $50
per guest / per night and will be subject to immediate eviction
. This is deemed theft of services. The registered party will
be responsible for the penalty charge. Hunter Inn management reserves
the right to enter and inspect any room upon showing of good cause.
Payment
/ Security Deposits
- Credit Card Payment:
Upon arrival a credit card authorization will be required for
the full amount of the stay plus an additional $50.00 security
deposit. The security deposit authorization will not be released
until 3 p.m. the day of check out, once housekeeping has inspected
and cleaned the room. Guests are welcome to authorize their stay
on a credit card and pay cash upon check-out.
- Cash Payment:
Guests wishing to pay for their stay in cash will be required
to pay for the entire amount of their stay plus a $50 security
deposit upon check-in. The security deposit will not be released
until 3 p.m. the day of check out, once housekeeping has inspected
and cleaned the room. If you are unable to return after skiing,
a credit card security deposit is advisable.
Outdoor
Hot Tub
The hot
tub, which is located outside the lower lobby, is available from
4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during ski season ( 9:40 p.m. is the last
call). Guests must see the front desk to reserve a time and obtain
a key for the door to the hot tub (the door locks automatically
and cannot be opened by a room key). The following rules apply to
the use of the hot tub:
- There is a 20 minute time limit per room
- Proper attire is required at all times
- Glass is not allowed in hot tub area
- Safety Regulations must be read and a waver
signed at front desk before the hot tub can be used
- Children 16 years old and younger must be
accompanied by an adult
Buffet
Breakfast
All
registered guests are invited to enjoy complimentary breakfast in
the dining room from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (Spring and Fall hours
are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ) Friends and family not staying at
the Hunter Inn are welcome to join you for $10 per person, please
notify the front desk ahead of time. We do request that food not
be taken from the dining room.
For early
risers, coffee is available in the lobby at 6:30 a.m.
Smoking
Hunter Inn is Non-Smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited in all
guest rooms and public areas. A
$50.00 cleaning fee will be charged for those that do not
comply with the Non-Smoking
designation.
Incense
/ Scented Candles
Please
refrain from using scented candles or incense during your stay at
the Hunter Inn . Both can be fire hazards and a fragrance that may
be pleasant for you may not necessarily be for the next guest. Due
to the difficulty in releasing the fragrance from the furnishings
a $50 cleaning fee will be accessed. We appreciate your cooperation.
Cooking
New
York State Fire Regulations prohibit cooking
of any type in the rooms . A $50 cleaning
fee will be accessed. If you would like to warm something, such
as baby formula, you are welcome to use the microwave in the dining
room, please see the front desk for assistance.
Parties
We would
like you to enjoy your stay at the Hunter Inn, but in order to ensure
the comfort of all our guests, we request that you keep your doors
closed and refrain from excessive noise in your room as well as
gathering in the hallways.
Ski
Equipment
The waxing of skis is strictly
prohibited anywhere in the Inn . Violators will be charged for carpet
replacement. Ski rags are provided in each room. Guests who use
bath towels to clean their skis will be charged a special cleaning
fee. |
